OneWorld Properties President and CEO Peggy Fucci raised $3,530.40 for Miami Bridge Youth + Family Services as one of six women South Florida Luxury Guide selected for its 2017 Women of Substance & Style feature.
Peggy, along with Tania Andre, Bonnie Crabtree, Marlene de Cespedes, Ann Keil and Danielle Gonzalez, was honored at the Pamper and Pledge event July 13 at Turnberry Isle Miami.
The local businesswomen balance work and personal life and still find time to give back to the community.
Proceeds of all ticket sales and 20 percent of product and service purchases at the event went to each of the women’s charities.
Together, they raised $15,252.06 for six charities: Miami Bridge, The Mavuno Project, Big Brothers Big Sisters, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, United Way Miami-Dade, and Women of Tomorrow.
Guests received massages from Turnberry’s Ame & Wellness Collective, hairstyling by Tricho Salon & Spa, and makeup touches by Gucci Beauty and Bloomingdale’s.
They sipped Hendrick’s Gin, Notorious Pink rosé and Carpano vermouth with their hors d’oeuvres.
Peggy serves on the board of directors for Miami Bridge, the only 24-hour homeless shelter for abused, neglected and abandoned youth ages 10-17 in Miami-Dade County. With locations in Miami and Homestead, Miami Bridge works to rescue youth from lives of victimization and crime and provides them with structure in a stable and nurturing environment. In 2015-2016, Miami Bridge sheltered 516 children and provided counseling to hundreds of families.
