OneWorld’s 2017 forecast: Sales, sales and more sales

OneWorld Properties marked 2016 with many milestones and is gearing up for more with 2017 in full swing.

We are proud to be the exclusive sales and marketing agent for four luxury high-rises located within walking distance of fine restaurants, boutiques and entertainment venues:

• PARAMOUNT Miami Worldcenter broke ground in March and had its foundation poured in October. Three floors have been erected so far of the 60-story, 513-unit tower, on pace to be complete in late 2018.

The 700-foot building, which is over 55 percent sold, will stand as one of the largest mixed-use buildings in the country and offer over 40 amenities, the most for a residential tower in the country and possibly the world. They include a soccer field, tennis courts, basketball court and jam room.

Buyers hail from 10 states, including Florida, New York, New Jersey, Texas, Massachusetts, California, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia. That’s in addition to buyers from more than 40 countries including China, Brazil, Venezuela, Turkey, Russia, Argentina and Colombia.

The 27-acre-site located around the heart of downtown Miami at 10th Street and NE 2nd Avenue will also feature a 1,800-room Marriott Marquis hotel and expo center developed by MDM Group.

Neighborhood improvements include upgraded streets, expanded sidewalks and improved vehicle and pedestrian flow between Biscayne Bay, Museum Park and American Airlines arena and points to the west including a potential soccer stadium. The development will link to the future All Aboard Florida high-speed rail terminal and existing Metromover.

Construction is also under way on the Miami Worldcenter high street retail pedestrian-oriented shopping streetscape. The shopping promenade will run north-south between NE 10th and 7th streets and east-west between NE 1st and North Miami Avenue. An open-air public plaza surrounded by shops and restaurants along NE 1st Avenue will serve as a central gathering place and outdoor event space.

• The final beam topped off PARAMOUNT Fort Lauderdale Beach in October. The 18-story tower’s 95 condominiums will be delivered to residents in the summer. The grand opening will make it the first luxury high-rise condominium project on Fort Lauderdale Beach in over a decade.

The building is nearly 90 percent sold. Only one penthouse remains on the market. The oceanfront two-story luxury residence is in the southeast corner of the building and offers 5,987 square feet of indoor living space with an additional outdoor living area that includes a built-in summer kitchen, private plunge pool and fire pit. It is listed for $9 million.

The 2-acre site is at 701 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard south of Sunrise Boulevard, overlooking the Atlantic shoreline and lush landscaping of Bonnet House Museum & Gardens.

The building also offers a resort-style pool and cabanas, fully-equipped gym, ground-floor restaurant owned by North Carolina based LM Restaurant Group, PARAMOUNT attaché private concierge and automated robotic car parking garage.

• Brickell Ten is nearly sold out with two units remaining. The 155-unit, 22-story building is located at 1010 SW 2nd Ave. Amenities include a skyview gym and outdoor spa on the rooftop, a pool overlooking the city, and indoor and outdoor kids play areas.

• 100 Las Olas is the new kid on the block. OneWorld Properties was announced as the exclusive sales agent of its 121 luxurious residences in late 2016, and the sales gallery opened Jan. 14, 2017, at 200 E. Las Olas Blvd., Suite 150.

The 499-foot, 46-level tower will start to go vertical in the spring and is destined to become downtown Fort Lauderdale’s tallest building and first condominium project in a decade when it opens, slated for fall 2019. Amenities include a resort-style pool, high-tech gym and news lounge. The building will also have a Hyatt Centric hotel and shops and restaurants.

OneWorld team members traveled to Argentina, Brazil, China, Colombia, El Salvador, France, Mexico, Peru, Spain and Turkey in 2016. More travel is on the horizon for 2017, including visits planned to China, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia.

OneWorld President CEO Peggy Fucci was honored in September with the International Women’s Leadership Award by Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick, a national women’s empowerment and leadership organization of 4,000+ members.
