Miami’s Skyline Gets its First Fully Enclosed Glass Rooftop Atrium Garden
February 13, 2020

Downtown Miami’s newest mixed-use tower, Legacy Hotel & Residences is bringing Miami’s first fully enclosed glass atrium rooftop and garden to the magic city. Located in the heart of mega-project Miami Worldcenter (MWC) by RPC developer Dan Kodsi, this will be the largest rooftop atrium for a hotel-condo in the U.S. The atrium will hold the city’s first Singapore-inspired pool soaring 500 feet in the sky, the crown jewel of what will be downtown’s largest hotel pool deck, spanning a full acre. It will also be home to bars, various lounge areas, and a rooftop restaurant. It will also offer air conditioning and of course, protection from any rain – meaning 365 days of use.

Legacy tower features 274 branded residences sitting above a 256 room hotel. Legacy Hotel & Residences will be one of downtown Miami’s only luxury hotels. Within a master plan that includes a convention center, entertainment, restaurants, and high-end retail, all helping to drive reservation demand year-round. It will be home to a number of Miami’s firsts like a business lounge, the fully enclosed glass atrium garden and health and performance center.

Miami Worldcenter is one of the largest private master-planned projects in the United States, featuring a diversity of urban land use, including retail, hospitality, residential and commercial space. Located in the core of downtown Miami, the ten-block, mixed-use development is situated immediately north of the Central Business District and is surrounded by world-class amenities and boasts convenient access to transportation.
